BRAND
Introduction
The evolution of modern bathroom solutions in India began in the 1960s, marked by the emergence of several pioneering brands in the bathware industry. Among these, Marc established itself as a visionary entrant, laying the foundation for what would become a legacy of excellence.
Founded in 1962, Marc entered the industry at a time when the concept of modern bathrooms was still in its infancy. Through unwavering commitment, consistent innovation, and a strong focus on quality, the brand steadily built a reputation that transformed it into one of the most trusted and recognized names in Indian bathware. By the 1990s, Marc had successfully established a robust presence across towns, cities, and districts nationwide, emerging as a formidable force in the industry.
Marc has been widely recognized for its distinctive faucet designs and comprehensive product portfolio. As an early innovator, the company introduced coloured faucet ranges and premium finishes at a time when the market was predominantly limited to conventional chrome products.
This forward-thinking approach redefined aesthetic standards in Indian bathrooms and positioned Marc as a trendsetter in design and innovation.
In 1993, Marc further strengthened its capabilities by establishing one of India’s largest manufacturing facilities in Delhi. This milestone marked a significant expansion in production capacity and operational excellence, reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering superior quality products.
Quality remains the cornerstone of Marc’s philosophy. Each product undergoes rigorous testing across multiple parameters, including water pressure, air pressure, durability, finishing, and overall performance. This uncompromising approach ensures that every offering meets the highest standards of reliability and excellence.
Today, Marc continues to evolve with a renewed strategic focus on expanding its Pan-India footprint while maintaining strong performance in key regions such as the East. The company is also a trusted supplier to major railway departments across India, reflecting its credibility in large-scale institutional projects.
Looking ahead, Marc is diversifying into premium and luxury segments, including coloured sanitaryware, marble finish collections, gold PVD ranges, high-quality kitchen sinks (Quartz and SS 304), premium vanities, and complete bathroom solutions tailored for modern lifestyles.
Our vision is clear to empower our channel with sustainable growth while delivering superior quality, innovative products, and enduring trust to our customers.
Focus On Quality,
From Start To Finish
Founded in 1962, we modernised our manufacturing facilities with a new plant in 1994 in Delhi. All processes required to transform designs through to the finished products were integrated at a single location.
It was an unprecedented move in the industry at the time.
Casting
To start with, we melt high-grade brass ingots, which transform into faultless brass castings through semi-automatic gravity die-casting machines. The cores used in casting are manufactured by silica core shooting machines. This ensures uniform wall thickness inside the faucet. To meet the expectations of our customers, we have ensured that we remain at the very top end of engineering quality and reliability. Therefore, we have invested in fully automatic, low-pressure, die casting machines and fully automatic sand blasting machines at our new manufacturing facility at Delhi
Machining
The machining on the castings is carried out on fully automatic and semi-automatic precision machines. Automatic traub machines are used for internal working parts. We also ensure complete consistency in the brass and internal head parts.
Grinding & Polishing
In addition to manual grinding machines, this department is equipped with fully automatic rotary polishing machines, in order to ensure extra smooth finishes and consistent quality every single time.
Surface Finishes
Electroplating
Our modern, single-roof manufacturing facilities include an ultra-modern electroplating plant which ensures durable Ni-Chrome plating, as well as an electrostatic powder coating plant that ensures that basic colour coatings do not fade or chip-off. In fact, our latest chemical coating plant makes it possible for us to offer attractive colours with long lasting finishes. At Marc, all 24 kt gold plated components are given an extra protective layer of electrophoreticlacquer with the help of the latest equipment imported from U.K./Germany as per international standards.
STRINGENT QUALITY STANDARDS
All Marc bath fittings are easy for the plumber to install. We use silicon-ceramic valves with polished sealing discs in most of our fittings. What’s more, the convenient 900 valves make our two-handle mixers and 3-hole models as easy to operate as the single lever mixers. In addition, our single lever mixers are fitted with international ceramic cartridges, thoughtfully designed and tested for smooth working. Finally, each faucet is assembled by hand by specially trained expert staff and subjected to comprehensive inspection and functional checks. All our faucets are vigorously tested at an operating pressure of 150 psi and static pressure of 300 psi. All our internal cartridges are type testedfor minimum specified cycles. We also subject our surface finishes to destructive tests, in order to maintain the specified standards of life expectancy.
