Warranty
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The product is under warranty for the stipulated period, as mentioned in the warranty chart from the date of purchase.
2. In case of any repairs/replacement of any parts of the product, this warranty shall continue thereafter and shall be Applicable only for the unexpired period of the warranty. The product or its part for any period the product has not been used whether or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period and no extension of the warranty period shall be granted.
3. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India only.
4. The warranty is effective only on submission of original sales invoice along with duly filled warranty card. This original invoice or warranty certificate must be preserved by the customer and produced whenever required.
5. if the product/component/part is found to be faulty due to manufacturing defect during the warranty period and under normal use, the same will be repaired or replaced upon production of this warranty certificate without charges either for part or labour or both. The decision of MARC officials will be final for determining whether or not the fault qualifies for warranty.
6. Warranty is invalid and ineffective, if the products are not installed according to the instruction manual or the product is found tempered/misused or any warranty norms are violated or the breakdown is not arising out of manufacturing defect but due to extremal reasons such as masonry, water impurities, electrical, plumbing error, water hardness beyond Permissible limits, inadequate or excessive water pressure, usage of abrasive cleaners, ammonia, bleach acid, wax, alcohol, solvent or any other non-recommended items on product, or improper care and cleaning of the product.
7. The warranty applies only if the product has been used at all times in strict accordance with terms of this warranty and has not been improperly or negligently handled and is maintained in accordance with maintenance guidelines given.
8. In the event of non-availability of components or parts due to any reason whatsoever, MARC or its authorized service Provider or the dealer will not be responsible or liable for any delay that may be caused to service/repair of the Products: no claims financial or otherwise will be entertained, in the event that the same model or colour is not available for replacement, MARC or its Authorized service franchisee will replace the defective product with an equivalent model or colour.
9. The company is not liable for any special or consequential damages due to defective product/component or part thereof. In no event shall the liability of marc exceed the purchase price of the product.
10. By purchasing this product, customer is agreeing to MARC aforesaid warranty on the product.
11. The company may, at its discretion, retain any part or component replaced during the warranty period.
12. MARC shall not be liable to customer claiming the warranty under the terms of condition of this limited warranty Certificate, arising out of defects caused by rodents/pets or in the events of force majeure. The force majeure means Any disaster, act of god or the public enemy, any accident, explosion, lockout, strike, labour conditions, unavoidable Accident, fire, storm, flood, earthquake, electric storms, tomado, casualty, nuclear explosion, national calamity, or any Other circumstance or event or by any enactment of law or by order of any legally constituted authority, or by any other similar cause beyond the reasonable control of the party.
13. MARC’s kability will be limited and restricted to the product replacement/value of the product sold, marc will not uninstall any defective product or install a replaced product under all circumstances. If replacement is the only option, then customer will have to handover the defective product to the seller from whom it was purchased and get that Replacement of the product.
14. This warranty automatically expires after completion of period mentioned in the warranty chart irrespective of the Installation date.
15. Company is not liable for any implied warranties other than those mentioned in the T & C of the wananity.
16. Warranty does not cover the taxes levied on the parts supplied or repaired during warranty period.
17. Inline fitters should be used with faucet. Any damage to ceramic cartridge without the use of inline filters will not be covered under warranty.
18. In the event of limestone and particles accumulated on aerator jali or fitting disc or water hardness found beyond the Permissible limit, the MARC product will not be covered under warranty.
19. For Ideal performance of health faucet & shower, maximum input pressure should be 3kg/cm2.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Use a mid detergent (such as dishwashing soap). Do not use abrasive cleaners.
2. Rinse and be sure to wipe the entire surface dry.
3. Do not use cleaners containing ammonia, bleach, or acid. Most toilet cleaning products have high acidic content which can
damage the chrome finish, hence they should not be used to clean chrome firish.
4. Use a soft dampened sponge or cloth to clean, never use abrasive material like a bristle brush or scouring pad.
5. Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area of the product before applying it to the entire surface.
AVOID
ACID FUMES: When we clean the tiles or floors in the bathroom with cleaning agents which contain acids or chemicals, acid furies are formed. Because the basic material used in the products is brass, brass being an alloy of copper reacts with these acid fumes. With this reaction, a green-coloured layer is formed on the products resulting in damage to the outer finish or coating.
ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS: This condition applies mostly to salt content in the air in coastal areas, sometimes the air reacts with brass and black spots emerge on the surface of product. Therefore, the product is required to be cleaned regularly. At the time of installation of these products, cover the products with the cloth covers provided in packaging or with polythene till the time you actually start using them.
SCRATCHING WHILE CLEANING: Scratching or scrubbing occurs due to hard nature of cloth or coarse cleaning powder being used for cleaning Use a gentle fluffy soft cloth for cleaning the surface.
WATER SCALING: Due to presence of minerals and salt in water, scaling is formed on the product if it is not cleaned regularly The products should be cleaned gently at regular intervals. Also, take extra care to clean the edges and corners of the products because these areas are more vulnerable to scale settling. Clean the aerator from time to time for a perfect foam flow of water from the fittings. The property of water being used is very important for your plumbing installations (Pipes etc.) as well as for your own hygiene. The hardness of water should not exceed 300-400ppm.
